COVID-19 Protocol

Sean Gilbert
President
Calgary Men’s Touch Football League

The health and safety of our players and officials are our number one priority.

A note from Sean Gilbert, CMTFL President

The Calgary Men’s Touch Football League will continue to follow the rules and guidelines for adult recreational sports and activities as provided by local authorities and health and safety professionals.

Following these guidelines allowed us to successfully host a shortened season the second half of the summer in 2020.

Some of the new COVID-19 protocols put in place last season were sanitization stations being available at all games, contact tracing sign-in forms before players accessed the fields and reducing opportunities for unnecessary contact and touchpoints.

Players exhibiting symptoms or who have recently tested positive for COVID-19 or have been in close contact with someone who tested positive will be asked to isolate from their team and cannot participate in league activities until deemed fit according to provincial health and safety protocols.

For more information about the measures the CMTFL have put in place, please contact me anytime.
