May 31, 2021 – CMTFL Season Kickoff.

March 31 Update – following this week’s reopening for summer announcement by the provincial government, the CMTFL have updated their return to play (season kickoff) schedule as follows:

Season start: Thursday, June 17
Exhibition games/scrimmage for team teams and players (all welcome): Monday, June 14
Team/individual league fees due: Monday, June 7

March 25 Update – due to municipal COVID-19 restrictions on organized sports and group gathers, the CMTFL season start is expected to be delayed 4-6 starts. We hope to kickoff the 2021 season sometime in June pending further direction from the city and province. We will update the league site and contact all teams and players when more information comes available with as much advanced notice as possible. Thank you for your patience.

Welcome to the start of another great Calgary Men’s Touch Football League season.

After a shortened 2020 season due to the pandemic, we’re excited to welcome back players and teams, new and old, alike for the 2021 season.

Since last year, we’ve put new COVID-19 protocols in place to protect the health and safety of our teams, and elected a new Board of Directors to ensure the future growth and success of our league.

The new Board has focused on keeping costs low, while ensuring the quality of our games do not suffer. This season, will be continue to play of top level fields, have paid officials and offer competitive and recreational divisions.

We already have more teams committed than in the recent past, and look forward to continuing to add new teams leading up to the start of the new season.
